Lucky

So, yesterday was mummy's birthday and we celebrated it at a chinese restaurant at resorts world Sentosa. Just had to say that i'm so lucky and grateful to be blessed with such a great family and friends around me keeping my roots together and holding me back when i feel like falling. Even though at times i do feel the sense of emptiness not knowing what is there to anchor me to this world or the dying curiosity of how the future would be like, the feeling of a sense of happiness that they give me overwrites that giving me the reassurance that the people whom i love has a mutual feeling and it is more than adequate already. So, thank you (to some form of higher power up there)

i guess its nice to blog once in awhile because it allows me to take time off to stop, look and reflect at what i've been doing and, to appreciated the people around me more. Shall do it more often! :)

So, its 2013 already! Well, i should start this very first post of the year by thanking and appreciating the people that i'm truly grateful for to have around me. Sometimes, we get so caught up with life that we tend to forget to take time out to appreciate the people who have been beside us, constantly giving us moral support and strength to continue fighting the obstacles that we face each day. I guess we can't blame ourselves for that as well because we are all living in this very suffocating, judgmental society and many of us are unable to put down/away our pride and time to think- stop for a moment and be grateful to the ones that matter,  feel- a need to thank them or say- the word 'thank you', 'i miss you'.

I feel that we should express ourselves more in terms of our feelings of showing more genuine care and love to the people around us showing our gratitude. 

'People are such complex beings. Such confusing signals they radiate. On and off, they come and they go. Mixed signals.'

Being said that, the degree of how sincere and genuine your words mean does a great difference as well. Just like how people say we should not make empty promises if we can't keep that promise, the same goes to gratitude as well. Saying things that you mean helps to keep you real and real friends/people are so hard/rare to find these days because of the society we live in. So superficial and materialistic. However, I cannot deny that anybody is not completely one of them (unless you're god or smt) because we live in it and our environment influences us one way or another. Therefore, all we can do is try our best to keep being genuine to stay real. Don't lose yourself or change yourself for others.

With that, here are some very important people that i cherish and love so very much and i'm so blessed to have met them. You little freaks are awesome. Its not the quantity but the quality right? Thank you so much for making an impact in my life not with a sizzle but with a BANG. :)

The Second Collation.

Memories are lights that burn to keep the heart alive. 

This is the continuous post from my previous in collating the various events that happened this year in memory of 2012. I just suddenly came to a realization of the importance of doing this collation as memories fade as time passes by and it is inevitable for us not to forget things but old things are beautiful and we should never forget that. The past is what moulds/change a person and just like how our upbringing reflects us as a person, our past/memories are the things that will push us forward in life having being able to remember what we have done before. The experience that we had.

The First Collation.

  This year begin with a whole new change in my life. Going to a new school that was so very foreign to me. Changes are supposedly a norm in a sense that it is inevitable that people/ feelings/ changes in certain situations however, in contrast to that, the word 'change' occurs to be a very scary word to me due to the perplexity of it. If we are unable to adapt or cope, we lose out and fall behind. This route (the A levels) seem to be overwhelmingly demanding and challenging which often makes me wonder if this 'change' that i have impetuously opted/signed-up for was suitable for me and that thought still occasionally returns even when i have made it through this year. I guess since i'm already a quarter way there, must as well make the best out of it. :)

 Nevertheless, this year have been a great year and i am going to do a collation of the whole year to thank and keep in mind of the things/ various events/ people that have impacted my life, the 2012 me.

February was when school started.
Orientation. Still remember how awkward and silent everyone was when we were asked to sit in single rows according to our groups and how pop songs were being blasted over the speakers to mask the awkwardness attempting to make us feel less nervous. Hahahaha!

This is my dearest bestie, jerlly bean going through the same situation at the first day of school in CJC. We were whats-apping each other to feel less awkward. HAHAHA

So glad that i had del with me. ^^ She's someone that knows me so freaking well and even though we didn't end up in the same class, school wouldn't be the same without her. 

I'm missing my ij blues so much. :'(

Althea, my homework buddy. Thank you for always staying back with me to do work and going for consultations together. Our intensive homework sessions have definitely paid off this year!!  HAHAHA!

Iris Weeeeeee! I don't think i'll ever be able to forget going to 2ne1's concert with you and seeing you go crazy over cl! Hahaha! It was really one of the best concerts i've ever seen and i'm so glad that i had that experience with ya! I'm pretty sure your voice = 5 people's voice hahaha!

Ji ji rolllll! Thank you for always helping me collect stuff and keeping me updated when I'm not in school! Like the other time when i completely forgot about the briefing for the work attachment, thank you so much for helping me tell the person!! oh! and thanks for baking us the cake pops!! it tasted so good! ^^

Last but not least, dearest Branzo my lupsup buddy for 4 days. I'm really really so glad that you were with me for the job attachment man! Don't know what i'll do if i was alone. Thank you for always looking out for me and pushing the trolley. Hahahha! Although it was one of the worst jobs, i had the best experience with you. Also, thank you for trusting and opening up to me while we did both work and had heart to heart talks. Will never forget our song and the overly-enthu aunty. HAHAHA! ^^

With that, i shall end this very summarized post of mine with the second part coming soon when i have the time to sort out the thousands of photos that have been taken this year. :)
